We want every HairStar customer to feel confident, supported, and delighted with their purchase. Please review our return guidelines carefully to ensure your item qualifies.
🟡 Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for wigs that meet all of the following requirements:

Unworn

Unaltered

In brand‑new condition

Returned with all original packaging intact, including:

Hairnet
-
Inserts
-
Tags
-
Tissue paper
-
The wig must be in perfect, unused condition with all original packaging included.
Your exact return deadline is listed in your delivery confirmation email.
🟡 How to Request a Return
To request a return, email us at customercare@hairstarwigs.net with:

Your order number

Your reason for return

Clear photos of the wig in its original, unused condition
All returns must be approved before a return label is issued.
Unauthorized returns or items that do not meet our hygiene standards will be rejected and returned to the customer.
🟡 Unacceptable Reasons for Returning a Wig
To protect the hygiene and integrity of our luxury units, we cannot accept returns for:

Wigs that have been worn, tried on without a wig cap, or show signs of use

Cut, trimmed, tinted, or altered lace

Wigs that have been styled, brushed out, washed, curled, straightened, or heat‑treated

Hair that has been colored, bleached, toned, or chemically altered

Wig caps that are stretched, adjusted, or show wear
-
Any odor, including perfume, smoke, sweat, food, or environmental smells
-
Missing packaging (hairnet, inserts, tags, tissue paper)
-
Wrong length, density, cap size, or texture chosen by the customer
-
“Changed my mind” reasons

Wigs exposed to pets, smoke, or contamination
-
Complaints about natural factory scent (this is not a defect)

Items marked Final Sale or Clearance
🟡 Refunds
Once your return is received, it will undergo a full inspection.
We will notify you by email once your return is approved or denied based on our hygiene and eligibility standards.
If approved:

Your refund will be issued to the original form of payment

Processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider
A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for all returned items to cover inspection and processing costs.
🟡 Exchanges
To exchange an item:

Follow the standard return process

Once your return is approved, you may request an exchange for a different length, texture, or style
Exchanges are only available for items that meet all return eligibility requirements.

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing customercare@hairstarwigs.net.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. If you wish to cancel after your order has shipped, you will need to follow our standard return process once the package is delivered.
🟡 Final Sale Items
Items marked Final Sale or Clearance cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
🟡 Why These Rules Exist
Human‑hair wigs are considered intimate, hygienic products. Once a unit has been worn, altered, exposed to odors, or removed from its original packaging, it can no longer be safely restocked.
These guidelines ensure every customer receives a fresh, untouched, premium‑quality unit, exactly as expected from a luxury brand like HairStar.
